Night photo is one of spectacular pictures that have magic power. There are bright light of the town or the dark skies above. In the special moment you will find car’s light moving around the buildings.

I think you can make night photos as a professional photographer. I want to share the photography tips to help you take night photos in all moment and situations.

The biggest obstacles for you to take night photo is condition that lack of lighting. Whereas a photographers are always on place that have good enough lighting to get the best photos. For this reasons, photo studio have tools to control room lighting and suggested to take landscape pictures at early morning or late afternoon.

For night photos, you should work with the light you have or find a creative way to maximize light. Uses of flash for take night photo will killing the mood, lose picture details and finally ruining your night photography. You should make flash not fire.

At lack of light and flash not be firing, the shutter of camera will open for longer. It allow digital camera get enough light to hit sensor that are needed to get better night photos. In this condition, the camera should be stable, a little rocking will make blurred photo. You need tripod to keep camera stable and use self timer to trip the shutter. If you don’t have a tripod, you should place the camera on flat surface and make stable condition.

Night Photographer Tips:

  • Turn off the flash camera in order to get photo details and good night photos.
  • Use self timer to trip the shutter. Self timer make camera stable when taking photos.
  • Place the camera on tripod or flat surface to keep stable condition
